Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SalahLock (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

SalahLock is provided by MOMEN TECHNOLOGIES LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Description of Service

SalahLock is an iOS application designed to help Muslims maintain consistent prayer habits by intelligently blocking selected apps during prayer times. The App uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time APIs to manage app access during prayer windows.

The App provides prayer time calculations, app blocking, prayer streak tracking, Barakah points, and related features as described on the App Store listing and our website.

Subscriptions and Billing

Plans and Pricing

SalahLock offers the following subscription plans:

• Individual Monthly — $7.99/month (includes 1-month free trial)
• Individual Annual — $49.99/year (includes 1-month free trial)
• Family Monthly — $10.99/month (up to 6 family members via Apple Family Sharing)
• Family Annual — $99.99/year (up to 6 family members via Apple Family Sharing)

Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing matrix.

Free Trial

Individual plans include a 1-month free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice to you. Your continued use of the App after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the App's security features or blocking mechanisms
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or infrastructure
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Share your subscription access beyond what is permitted by your plan (e.g., beyond 6 family members for Family plans)
• Create false or misleading accounts

Intellectual Property

SalahLock, including its design, code, content, and branding, is the intellectual property of MOMEN TECHNOLOGIES LLC. All rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.

“SalahLock,” the SalahLock logo, and “Barakah over Blame” are trademarks of MOMEN TECHNOLOGIES LLC.

Prayer Time Calculations

SalahLock provides prayer time calculations based on established Islamic methods and your location data. While we strive for accuracy, prayer times are approximate and may vary based on your specific location, calculation method chosen, and local conventions. We recommend verifying prayer times with your local mosque or Islamic authority.

SalahLock is a tool to support your prayer practice. It is not a substitute for Islamic scholarship or religious guidance.

Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all synced data from our servers, including prayer records, streaks, deeds, and donation records.

When you delete your account, we also initiate revocation of your Sign in with Apple credential. Local data on your device is not automatically deleted—you can clear it separately in Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear All Data.

Donation Program

Our donation program commits to donating the equivalent of a subscriber's monthly cost when they achieve prayer streak milestones (30, 60, 90+ days). Donations are made at our discretion to charitable organizations. The donation program may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. App blocking functionality depends on Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time APIs, which may change or have limitations outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOMEN TECHNOLOGIES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state of the App provider's incorporation, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by posting updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
